83-year-old man identified as victim who died after run over by vehicle

A 83-year-old man died this week when he was run over by a vehicle, the Allen County Coroner's Office said today.

Baltazar Guzman of Fort Wayne died Tuesday of multiple crush injuries, and his death was ruled accidental, a news release said.

The crash happened in the 800 block of Ardis Drive in Waynedale. He was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Guzman's death marks the 21st traffic fatality this year in Allen County, the release said.

Fort Wayne police and the coroner's office continue to investigate the incident.
