PADUCAH, Ky. (WSIL) -- A tornado watch has been issued for portions of southern Illinois, southeast Missouri and western Kentucky until 8 p.m. on June 6.

The National Weather Service issued the tornado watch due to the incoming severe weather.

Threats with the severe weather on Friday include a couple of tornadoes possible, isolated hail up to a quarter size and scattered gusts up to 70 mph are possible.
