Everley Hurwitz will become a bat mitzvah on Saturday evening, June 7, at Beechmont Country Club. Everley is the daughter of Eric and Deb Hurwitz of Moreland Hills and the sister of Cameron, Jackson and Skylar. She is the granddaughter of Susan and Robert Hurwitz of Pepper Pike, Ellen Jacob and Lee Rosen of Bainbridge, and Marty and Elaine Jacob of Highland Heights. Everley attends Ballard Brady Middle School and enjoys lacrosse, soccer, arts and crafts, and attending Camp Wise. For her mitzvah project, Everley will raise money in connection with the Jewish Federation of Cleveland to bring teens from Kibbutz Kissufim, one of the 22 communities in the Gaza Envelope that was attacked on Oct. 7,2023, to Camp Wise for respite, rehabilitation and Jewish connection ( jewishcleveland.o
