A teenage driver was caught swerving through traffic on a Connecticut highway at a staggering 132 mph — blaming it on being late for a job interview, according to police who had to give up the chase.

Azmir Djurkovic, 19, was clocked hitting the crazy speed in a family member’s Mercedes E300 on the I-91 south in Hartford just before 9 a.m. Wednesday, Connecticut State Police said.

When a Trooper gave chase with lights and sirens, the speeding driver “failed to stop and accelerated away while making unsafe lane changes and weaving in and out of traffic,” police said.
