A local couple was arrested Tuesday night after authorities say they repeatedly gave beer to their 1-year-old child while seated at the bar of a local restaurant.

Craig Richard Banks Jr., 34, and Paetyn Nicole Gregory, 30, were taken into custody outside a local restaurant on Fischer Crossings Drive after video surveillance reportedly showed them laughing as they gave their toddler sips of beer multiple times.

Deputies were dispatched to the restaurant on June 3 after a manager contacted them about suspicious behavior. The manager told deputies the couple had been serving alcohol to their child and said video footage was available.
