CAMBRIDGE, OH – A coordinated drug investigation led to the arrest of a Zanesville man following a search of a Cambridge home.

The Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Cambridge Police Department, the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force, and other law enforcement units, executed a search warrant at a residence on Taylor Avenue.

Authorities arrested 20-year-old Brandon Godfrey at the scene. Investigators reported finding suspected cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, and several firearms in the home.

Godfrey has been charged with trafficking in cocaine and possession of cocaine, both second-degree felonies. Officials said more charges could follow, pending a grand jury review in Guernsey County Common Pleas Court.
