Tulsa Job Corps officials confirmed Friday morning that students will be able to move back to the program’s north Tulsa campus as early as Tuesday.

Adam Martin, a workforce specialist and community liaison for Tulsa Job Corps, said Friday that outreach efforts are underway to notify students that they will be allowed to move back to campus after the U.S. Department of Labor’s May 29 announcement that it was pausing contracts with all contractor-run Job Corps locations.

That pause was supposed to take effect on June 30, although staff at the Tulsa location were informed that they had to move students off campus by Tuesday of this week.

Students will be brought back to campus in phases, Martin said, with priority consideration given to students
