A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for northern Hillsborough county and southwestern Merrimack county until 3:15 p.m.

Hazards with this storm include 60-mph wind gusts and small hail.

Locations in the warning zone include Hopkinton, Henniker, Hillsborough and Concord.

The warning comes as strong storms continue to move through the area.

A flood watch is in effect for all of New Hampshire, except Coos County.

The flood watch will be in effect through the late evening.

Friday will be warm, but it will not be as hot as it was on Thursday, with highs in the 70s to near 80 degrees.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely to continue throughout the day, especially in southern New Hampshire.
