TAYLORSVILLE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Just after midnight Friday, the Alexander County 911 Center received a call reporting shots fired at a residence while individuals were inside.

Officers arrived on the scene and spoke with the victims, who identified the suspect as Christopher Bryck of Taylorsville.

After further investigation, it was determined that the victim and Bryck knew each other and were disputing over property. Bryck had come to the residence with a firearm and had stolen property.

As Bryck was leaving, he fired his firearm three times.

No individuals were injured

Bryck was arrested and charged with one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon and one count of assault by pointing a gun.

Bryck is being held without bond, and his first court appearance is scheduled for J
