A New Prague man faces more than 70 years in prison after he was found guilty of 15 counts of sexual assault against two children.
The Scott County Attorney’s Office has announced that Jeffrey William Boysen, 45, was sentenced to 72 years in prison following his conviction.
Boysen was charged after two young adults came forward with allegations that he had sexually assaulted them during childhood.
One of the victims was 13 when the assaults began.
“I am extremely proud of and grateful to the two young adults who came forward and courageously testified to the terrible acts committed upon them by Mr. Boysen in their childhood," Scott County Attorney Hocevar said in a statement.
