The recently renovated Woodman Pool in Brantford will open for weekends starting Saturday.

The 25-metre heated pool, located at 491 Grey St., has shallow and deep water, an accessible ramp and a water bucket splash feature.

On Saturdays and Sundays from June 7 to 29, public swims will be held from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.; family swims from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.; and length swims from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The pool will be open daily from June 28 until Labour Day, Sept.1.

Additional swims will be offered Monday to Friday, including a public swim from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.; family swim from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.; and length swims from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Aquafit pool fitness classes will be offered Wednesdays from July 3 to Aug. 28 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
