BATH BEACH TO GRAVESEND — STUDENTS INTERESTED IN GOVERNMENT AND PUBLIC SERVICE now have an opportunity for summer internships at the Office of Assemblymember William Colton (D-47).

Students who are at least 14 years old are invited to apply for the internships in Colton’s district. Students accepted for the opportunity will be based at Colton’s district office at 155 Kings Hwy.

“This is a terrific opportunity for students in high school and college to learn about and participate in public service,” said Assemblymember Colton. “We involve them in neighborhood projects, provide networking opportunities and introduce them to community leaders who can provide unique perspectives on the challenges faced by local residents, all of which gives them a solid grounding in the intricacies of govern
