Charlie Woods will enter the weekend at Florida's 108th Amateur Championship within six shots of the tournament lead.
Woods, a junior at the Benjamin School and son of legendary golfer Tiger Woods , made the cut at BallenIsles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens and will enter the third round tied for 31st overall at 2-over par for the tournament.
Derek Busby (Palm Beach Gardens) leads at 4-under overall ahead of a group of 17 other golfers who enter the weekend under-par for the tournament. The cut line finished at 6-over par.
Woods will begin his third round at 7:45 a.m. Saturday off hole No. 1 on the East Course. He's paired with former Benjamin teammate Pavel Tsar , a Notre Dame golf signee, and Estero's Jake Sherwin.
