(KTLA) – A "Cars"-themed land is coming to Walt Disney World, bringing new rides and attractions inspired by the hit film series and its characters.

The project, however, is also "part of the largest expansion in the history of Magic Kingdom," according to Disney — meaning it's set to displace a couple of other longtime Disney attractions.

Piston Peak National Park, as it will be called, will be built between Magic Kingdom's Frontierland and Liberty Square, as detailed in a Disney Parks Blog post shared this week. While an exact opening date for the new land has yet to be announced, Disney confirmed that additional details, including more about the upcoming ride, will be shared at a later time.
