DALLAS — Solomon Thomas is tackling a lot of firsts this year. Along with entering his first season with the Dallas Cowboys, the defensive lineman is making his Broadway debut with "MJ the Musical."

Despite being new to Broadway, this will not be Thomas' first appearance in the theatre community. In 2024, he won an award at the Tony Awards and also worked as a theatre correspondent for CBS, according to the Star-Telegram .

Producer Lia Vollack is especially excited about Thomas joining the show.

“Solly has been such a great supporter and friend of Broadway and our show,” Vollack said. “We couldn’t think of a better way to thank him for his time in New York - giving him his Broadway debut!”
