LUBBOCK, Texas -- The National Weather Service in Lubbock said more severe weather is expected across the area late Friday afternoon and through the evening. The NWS said damaging wings, large hail, isolated tornadoes and flash flooding are possible threats.

The storms are developing near the state line and expected to begin moving eastward by 6:00 p.m. Be prepared for severe weather and have a way to receive watches and warnings.
