ROUND ROCK — The Spring Hill Panthers returned a pair of 12-game winners on the pitcher's mound following a 2025 season that ended in the state semifinals.

On Friday, both of those players went to the mound and this time around Spring Hill was able to bring home the gold.

Landon Bartell started on the bump and went six innings, and Cayden Rhodes closed it out with an inning of action as the Panthers captured the Class 4A Division 2 state championship with a 5-3 win over the Wimberley Texans at Dell Diamond.
