The Owen Sound and District Chamber of Commerce held a successful business excellence awards on Thursday, with a sold-out crowd watching on as winners were selected in 14 different categories. Article content
Tiffany James, the chamber’s chief executive officer, said the community really got behind this year’s event at Best Western Inn on the Bay, which saw a record number of votes cast for the awards, which featured more than 150 nominees up for the various awards. Article content

“I think with the uncertainty of what is happening south of the border people are more inclined to support local and look to local when they are wanting to shop,” James said. “We really saw that last night.”
The local chamber has close to 400 members made up of everythin
