SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of an 73-year-old man in City Heights earlier this week, the San Diego Police Department announced Friday.

The teenager, whose identity has not been released due to their status as a juvenile, was arrested on Thursday near the intersection of Euclid Avenue and El Cajon Boulevard — two days after the shooting in the 4600 block of Olive Street.

No details about motive or whether he had any relationship to the victim, 73-year-old Diosado Gumbayan, were immediately available.
