MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- The Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office on Friday issued a public apology to the Zellars family following backlash over recent media coverage of a new music studio program inside the detention center.
Video surfaced this week showing an inmate of the detention center, who is currently accused in the death of the Zellars’ son, participating in the new music program.
