Three Texas Hooters locations, one of which was a 24-year-old North Texas location, closed on June 4.

The Texas locations that closed are in Grapevine, Houston and San Marcos. The Grapevine location opened in 2001. The Instagram and Facebook pages for the Grapevine location no longer exist, and the Hooters website does not show the Grapevine, Houston or San Marcos locations.

USA TODAY reported in April 2025 that Hooters had more than 300 locations– 151 owned and operated by Hooters Inc. and a separate 154 operated by franchisees. More than 70 Hooters locations have shut down since June 2024, including some in Fort Worth and Arlington . The company told USA Today that the closures were “a difficult decision.”
