CAREY, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —Christmas is still a long time away, but for one ranch this past spring it felt a lot like Christmas.
“So keep an eye out, because this spring we are expecting our first round of calves,” said Shaylin Heywood, owner of Sawtooth Reindeer with her husband Eric, back in 2024

“I think the delivering of the calves was definitely one of our biggest challenges just because over like a 2-month span, it’s checking the girls every two to three hours so a lot of late nights. Then we have our bottle baby, of course, and so that was quite a lot,” said Shaylin.
And Nes, the bottle baby, was born only 9
