LIVERPOOL, N.Y. — The Liverpool Central School District is still seeking a new superintendent to lead its schools.
The district provided an update on the search on Friday. It said it was willing to take the necessary time to make sure it finds the right candidate for the job.
"While we had hoped to name a candidate by now, we believe strongly that making the right choice is far more important than making a quick one," said the district in a news release. "The Board remains actively engaged in this process and is confident that we are on the path to identifying a leader who will serve our district with passion, purpose and excellence."
The district and then-Superintendant Daniel Henner parted ways in September 2024. He took home a severance pay of more than $383,000 , which was salari
