A sobriety checkpoint will take place between Saturday night at 10 and Sunday at 3 a.m. at an unannounced location in Delaware County, state police said Friday.

Cpl. Brendan Connor said Troop K Media station will conduct the checkpoint. The goal of the checkpoint is to remove drunken and drugged drivers from the road.

“Help us fight drunk and drugged driving, a danger that is entirely preventable,” Connor said.
