Warren JFK fell short in the Division VII Regional Final Thursday at Oberlin College. The Eagles dropped a close game to Tiffin Calvert, 4-3.

Kennedy held a 3-0 lead until the top of the sixth inning when the Senecas scored three runs to tie the game.

"We jumped on them early but we didn't add and that cost us," said Jim Ciambotti, Warren JFK baseball coach. "They're gonna chip away and eventually good teams are going to beat you."

The Senecas plated one more run in the top of the seventh to take the lead and the Eagles weren't able to overcome the late rally.

Kennedy's Freddy Bolchalk pitched seven innings giving up nine hits, four runs and struck out six.

Michael Bartoe and Taggart Carfangia both had RBIs for the Eagles.
