OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Sensory kits will be available for checkout at Charles Schwab Field during the College World Series, according to the Autism Action Partnership.

“Autism Spectrum Disorder affects 1 in 31 children, and many autistic individuals experience sensory sensitivities that can make large, crowded events overwhelming. By providing sensory kits, the MCWS is helping to remove barriers and create a more inclusive ballpark experience,” according to the AAP.

Fans will be able to check out kits at the guest services counter near Section 113. Each kit includes items like noise-canceling headphones, sunglasses, fidgets, a visual timer and more.

The partnership’s program works with local organizations and venues to increase autism awareness and inclusion, according to the release.
