SCARBOROUGH, Maine — Hannaford has issued a recall for select varieties of Nature's Promise Veggie Chips over a possible undeclared wheat allergen.

The supermarket chain issued the recall Friday afternoon stating that they were alerted by the supplier about a "possible undeclared wheat allergen," according to the news release.

The following items are listed in the recall:

Nature’s Promise Veggie Chips multipack, 6 count, 6 oz., UPC 68826758057, with the lot code of Sept.22, 2025.

Nature’s Promise Veggie Chips, 1 oz., UPC 68826758056, with the lot code of Sept. 22, 2025.

Hannaford is urging anyone with a wheat allergy who purchased the product to not consume the product and instead bring their receipt showing the purchase to a nearby Hannaford store for a full refund.
