On Sunday, present and past participants of a program called Stand Up for Mental Health will be performing. Article content Article content
Among them will be Kingston’s Johnathan Eggleton. He joined the six-week program at the suggestion of his psychotherapist, who had taken part a decade earlier and found it empowering.
The course has allowed Eggleton to examine his mental health from a different perspective than before.
“I think this is a nice, lighthearted way to talk about my mental health, and approach it in a comedic, funny way where I’m not going to be judged,” he said.
