ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — The people of Albuquerque are invited to celebrate another year of life for the oldest giraffe at the ABQ BioPark. June is turning 31, which is 10 years over the median life expectancy for a female giraffe.

The ABQ BioPark says June is the third oldest female giraffe in North America. They're asking the community to come celebrate June, who is more commonly known by her nicknames June Bug and Junie B.
