GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Police Department is sharing its results from the annual Click It or Ticket enforcement effort from May 20 through June 2.
The campaign, fueled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, combines increased enforcement with effective communication to drivers and the importance of using a seat belt, according to the agency.
“Utilizing seat belts, child seats and boosters greatly reduces the risk of injury and death if involved in a motor vehicle crash,” said major Terry Flatt.
The Glasgow Police Department says it had a total of 15 speeding citations, 16 seatbelt violations, one child restraint and 36 other traffic violations during the Click Or Ticket campaign.
