WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) - Fall out continues after Elon Musk turned on President Donald Trump and launched an online campaign to kill the Republicans' big, beautiful bill.

White House sources say the president does not plan to call Musk to smooth things out after he threatened to terminate Musk's many government contracts.

The blow-up left Republicans on Capitol Hill rattled as Musk, the richest man in the world, appears dead set on killing a key part of their domestic agenda.

"I hope this gets worked out,” said Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.).

House Republicans are holding out hope President Trump and Musk will make amends.
