CHAPEL HILL — The runs kept off the scoreboard were arguably more impressive than the runs UNC baseball finished with in its 18-2 annihilation of Arizona at Boshamer Stadium .

The Tar Heels (46-13) have never scored more runs in an NCAA Super Regional game than the number they put up against the Wildcats (42-19) in Game 1 in Chapel Hill. Their previous best was 14 against Coastal Carolina in the 2008 Cary Regional.
