The Duluth Passport is back, offering a simple way to see North Shore sites on a day trip over the summer.

The pass gives holders access to three Duluth attractions: The Great Lakes Aquarium, the North Shore Scenic Railroad or Lake Superior Railroad Museum, and the William A. Irvin Ore Boat.

However, the pass only works at the Lake Superior Railroad Museum on days when trains are not running.

Essentially, the price is a "buy-two-get-one-free" deal on tickets, with all three locales within walking distance of one another.

It adds a little bonus charm by having attractions put a stamp in the passport during each visit, turning the "ticket" into a keepsake.

The Duluth Passport can only be purchased online and costs $45 for adults or $25 for kids age 3–13, the same prices it had last year
