GREENBELT, Md. (7News) — Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a mistakenly deported Salvadoran native who lived in Maryland, is back in the U.S. to face federal charges, according to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi. Abrego Garcia was indicted by a federal grand jury for transporting undocumented migrants within the U.S.
During a press conference Friday, Bondi called Abrego Garcia a "danger to our community."
According to the indictment filed on May 21, Garcia and at least five co-conspirators allegedly conspired to bring undocumented aliens to the U.S. from Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Ecuador, and elsewhere between 2016 and 2025. They would allegedly pass
