It is what it is, mate. Ange Postecoglou was finally put out of his misery on Friday as Tottenham Hotspur confirmed what had been an open secret for some time: the 59-year-old had been sacked after a season of tumultuous extremes.

Spurs ended their 17-year wait for a trophy by lifting the UEFA Europa League following a 1-0 win over Manchester United in last month's final.
