Washington Town & Country Fair officials and community supporters cut a ribbon Thursday to celebrate the completion of the new $1 million roof over the Main Stage at the Fairgrounds.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was followed by the annual Washington Area Chamber of Commerce Summer Mixer, where 2025 Fair Co-Chair Stephanie McKenzie thanked those who made the new roof possible, as well as giving a preview of this year’s Fair, set for Aug. 6 to 10. ×
