Two Hamilton roads have made the top three worst roads in Ontario.

Aberdeen Avenue is at the top of the latest CAA’s 10 worst roads list for the second year in a row, with Barton Street East in second place, moving one spot up from last year.

Barton Street East has appeared on the list six times and was the worst road in 2023.

“Potholes and poor road maintenance were some of the top issues that were referenced in the campaign,” said Brian Pirvu, the CAA’s government relations consultant.

But the association said the streets may be bumped off the list with expected city upgrades.

“The reason why it was nominated so much is because they are quite frequently travelled on,” said Pirvu.
