LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — There was a close call at a home in north Lincoln on Friday.

Around 10:30 a.m., a semitrailer clipped a home near 27th and Vine streets.

The homeowner’s 16-year-old son was in the home at the time, and he said it was quite the scare.

“It was a loud bang,” Zayn Alarab said. “I ran outside trying to see what happened. It sounded like they completely sideswiped the house.”

In a video sent to our NOW Local News App by a Channel 8 reporter, you can see damage to the roof of the house, with debris scattered on the concrete.

Nobody was injured, and the damage to the home was minimal.

Channel 8 has reached out to the Lincoln Police Department for more information on the cause of the crash.

This is a developing story. Check back with Channel 8 for updates.
