PHOENIX — Three construction workers were injured on Friday after a roof collapsed at a Peoria construction site, according to authorities.
The roof caved at a work site near 9300 W. Yearling Road, according to the Peoria Police Department.

Early into the investigation officers learned that the roof was on a newly built home.
One worker was inside the home while two workers were on top of the roof, according to police.
All three construction workers were hurt, and one person suffered from a head injury.
They are expected to be taken to a nearby hospital.
