RICHMOND, Va. (WDBJ) - The 28th Annual Virginia Fallen Firefighters & EMS Memorial Service will take place at noon Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the Richmond International Raceway Complex, Main Exhibition Hall.

The ceremony will honor 12 first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the Commonwealth, according to the Virginia Department of Fire Programs .

The Memorial Service, held in accordance with the Virginia Line of Duty Act , “recognizes the courage, commitment, and sacrifice of Virginia’s fallen fire and EMS personnel.”

The event will feature honor guards, a keynote address, musical tributes, and a statewide apparatus display.
