To protect world leaders and their entourage, what's been dubbed the largest security operation on Earth is being mobilized.

KANANASKIS — A Canadian paratrooper stood guard just a few dozen metres from where Dylan Foster and his young family were enjoying lunch at their Kananaskis campsite.

The previous Wednesday evening, the blades of military helicopters beat the air repeatedly as they swooped over the Sundance Lodges campground, honing their vigilance over what will soon be an area sealed off from much of the outside world to safeguard a gathering of the world’s foremost democratic leaders.
