First Independent Bank relocating to new office in Carson City

First Independent Bank is moving to a new Carson City location —across the street from its current office — and is scheduled to open on Monday.

First Independent Bank will occupy the 4,000-square-foot building at 1811 E. College Parkway. With three times the space of the former Carson City location, it includes upgrades like skylights, a 30-foot entrance, parking and a drive-through teller window.

The additional space enables the bank to better support the existing Carson City team and welcomes four existing team members who commute to First Independent Bank in Reno.

A total of 13 bank staff will operate from the new location, including Angela Rowan, vice president of business banking, and Ellie Piazza, preferred banking manager.
