A now ex-U.S. Army soldier has been sentenced to 23 years in prison for the murder of his pregnant wife and unborn child.
On Thursday, June 5, Private First Class Dewayne Arthur Johnson II was sentenced to 23 years in prison for the murder of his 19-year-old wife, Mischa Johnson, and her unborn child in July 2024, the U.S. Army Office of Special Trial Counsel said. Johnson was also punished with a reduction in rank, total loss of pay and allowances, and a dishonorable discharge.
