LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) is investigating a two-car crash that happened on Friday afternoon.

The collision reportedly happened at around 2:15 p.m. at the intersection of Tall Cedars Parkway and South Riding Boulevard.

Two people were taken to a hospital with serious injuries, while a third person was treated at the scene.

One of the drivers passed away at the hospital, LCSO said.
