NEW ORLEANS — The 39th Annual Creole Tomato Festival returns to the French Market this weekend, bringing two full days of music, food, and fun for all ages.

The fest kicks off Saturday, June 7, and runs through Sunday, June 8, celebrating the Creole tomato.

Festivalgoers can expect:

Live music in Dutch Alley

Food booths serving up Creole tomato dishes from local restaurants and vendors

Fresh Creole tomatoes for sale

Cooking demos and dance lessons

Admission is free and open to the public.
