Wilo Morales-Colon, 49, has been charged with first-degree murder and unlawful possession of a firearm in connection with the shooting death of 32-year-old Karina Martinez-Ortiz back in March.

Prosecutors said Martinez-Ortiz was found suffering from gunshot wounds right in front of her first-floor apartment. She was rushed to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
