Florida State fans will soon witness the high-flying, shot-blocking and highlight-producing abilities of former College of Southern Idaho standout Shahid Muhammad.

Muhammad, a 6-foot-10 forward who spent this past season at UMass, announced his commitment to FSU on Friday.

“I wouldn’t be here without God!” Muhammad wrote on X.

Muhammad spent the 2023-24 season with CSI as a transfer from Seton Hall. Muhammad accumulated a CSI single-season record with 106 blocks across 30 appearances.

He started 29 of CSI’s 30 games as he averaged 5.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game.

Muhammad, a Second Team Region 18 selection, helped CSI (23-9 overall, 9-3 Scenic West Athletic Conference) to a Region 18 runner-up finish.
