Syracuse, N.Y. — The average home sale price is up at least 15% when compared with this time last year in three Onondaga County towns, according to new data.
The towns include Cicero, Elbridge and Onondaga. The average price is up the most so far this year in Onondaga at 17.67%, according to data from Central New York Information Service Inc., an arm of the Greater Syracuse Association of Realtors .
No. 2 is Elbridge, where the average sale price is 16.81% higher than this time in 2024. No. 3 is Cicero at 15.36%.
Onondaga has the highest average sale price of the three towns at $366,300.
Countywide, the average sale price for a home is now $304,000 , up 8.8% from this time last year. Total sales are down 24 to 1,250.
The numbers reflect sales through June 3.
