KENTUCKY (WKYT) - Todd Woolston, pastor and founder of Coastal Virginia Recovery, started the outreach after feeling led spiritually to respond to areas hit by natural disasters in the United States.
Soon after, Hurricane Helene tore through North Carolina.
“We’ve responded every 60 days already to Western North Carolina with teams from all over the different states....We’ve done everything from building tiny houses and delivering those to Western North Carolina. Tree work, logs on homes, and tractor work...” said Todd Woolston, Pastor and Founder of Coastal Virginia Recovery.
The team is still actively helping those in North Carolina, but will move their crews to Laurel and Pulaski counties next week.
