The lowly 20-43 White Sox, though not as lowly as the Rockies, welcome the 33-30 Royals to Chicago for a three-game weekend series. Coming off a series win against the Cardinals, the Royals offense has been showing signs of life by scoring 10, 5, and 7 runs in the three games.
Of course, eyes remain on Jac Caglianone. The large lad made his debut this past week but has just one hit in 13 plate appearances. That’s not for lack of trying - his average bat speed is top 10 in MLB and he’s been hitting the ball hard. Hopefully the hits will come.
